Turn up your head shake!
We went to Utah this weekend and on the way home David and I were talking and I asked David a question. I was driving so I couldn't tell that he had answered me. I asked him, "yes or no." He said, "I shook my head yes." I said to him, "I can't hear you shake your head." Amy in the backseat says to her Dad, "Turn up your head shakes, dad!" We both started laughing. I love all the funny comments she comes up with.

Parker's Birthday Party
Parker wasn't sure what to think of this whole birthday thing.
He really enjoyed opening his presents. His sister tried to take over quite a bit. Parker was pretty easy going about the whole thing.

I took this idea from Brooke. We made a merry-go-round with balloons. Parker and Amy absolutely loved it. Parker especially liked it when dad held him up so the balloons hit him in the face.

Happy Birthday Parker
Parker turned 2. Amy is much more excited then Parker. I don't think he understands yet. Amy asked him, "How old are you now?" He held up one finger and said one. We tried to teach him to hold up 2, but it was a little to difficult so he holds up all five and tries to say, "Two." He is such a cutie. He was excited when he woke up from his nap, because we had decorated the house for his party. He loved the balloons.

Parker the day he was born, only minutes old.
Parker on his 1st birthday. Look at those dimples, what a grin.

Parker today (outside of course, he could live out there if we would let him), 2 years old.

New glasses
I decided to get new glasses this year since it has been 10 years. I hated wearing my old ones because they were way out of style. Amy also has new glasses. I loved her old ones so it has taken me a little getting used to, but she looks cute in them. Amy's glasses are pink this time and have a little glass slipper on the ear piece. They are Disney Cinderella glasses. Her prescription changed a little, but she can still use her old glasses as backup if needed. Amy thinks it is great that mom is wearing glasses now. I decided to wait on buying new contacts this year.
