Parker's sport confusions

Parker was playing Wii bowling with his sister and he kepted yelling, "Whew Who, Goal in One or touchdown!  After telling him that it was called a strike or a spare, he said, "Oh yah!"  He is reallly good at Wii bowling so he gets a little excited when he plays. 

Amy's Hair Cut

Amy decided that she wanted to get her hair cut short. I suggested that we donate her hair to Locks of Love. She was so excited to do this once she visited their website and learned about. She wanted to look like Kit Kittredge an American Girl doll. I think she really does look like her. She ended up donating about 13 inches. It will be a fun summer hair style. She is excited to be able to brush her own hair.

Science Fair

Amy and her class did their science fair project on different types of stuff that will eat your teeth.  They were divided into 2 teams.  Amy enjoyed this project and learned a lot about what you need to do to keep your teeth healthy.  They had a dentist come and talk with them as well.  They used actual teeth in their experiment.  They were pretty were huge.  I am used to the little tiny baby teeth that fall out and have no root.  

Aquarium

Today was a day off of school for the kids so I took the day off and we went to the aquarium as a family. It was a lot of fun. There are lots of hands on exhibits. The kids had a great time. Parker managed to get his sleeve wet even though he was wearing short sleeves. Amy's favorite was the cameleon and the iguana. Parker liked the starfish.

Ice Skating

We went on an ice skating trip with several of my co-workers. It was the first time for both of the kids. They did a great job. It made it a lot easier that they had these walkers to help them.
